EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™

Entrepreneurs shape our lives. They create jobs and stimulate innovation without any limitations. They contribute to the process of nation building by fuelling economic growth and prosperity. With their visionary ideas and relentless spirit, they challenge disruptive forces and bring with them innovative solutions even during the toughest times. Driven by their desire to improve the world around them, they stop at nothing to achieve their greatest ambitions.

The program was launched to celebrate the entrepreneurial ingenuity of such Unstoppables, to share their inspiring stories and recognize their achievements.

The first EOY program took place in 1986 in the US. In India, the EOY program was formally launched in 1999 in Mumbai. Over the last two decades, the EOY India program has felicitated over 250 entrepreneurs in several categories.

Every year, an independent jury comprising of some of India’s most eminent business leaders select the finalists and winners of the program. The EOY title winners include some of the most influential and recognizable names across the globe — Falguni Nayar, Harsh C. Mariwala, Dr. Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Siddhartha Lal, Sanjiv Bajaj, Vivek Chaand Sehgal, NR Narayana Murthy, Uday Kotak, Adi Godrej, Sunil Bharti Mittal, Kumar Mangalam Birla, Anand Mahindra, Mukesh Ambani, Anil Agarwal and Dilip Shanghvi, to name a few.

The EOY India 2022 Jury, led by K.V. Kamath, along with the other members, will be felicitating all our finalists and announcing all the winners at the glittering awards ceremony on Thursday, 23 February 2023.
